“May God bless you and your family, Mr. President. May God bless America. May God bless Israel. And may God bless the covenant between our two promised lands.” – Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, October 13, 2025 before Trump addressed Israel’s Knesset as Hamas releases the hostages
A covenant has been established between the United States and Israel, yet nobody is talking about it. If you have been watching the news about the war between Israel and Gaza this year, you would have observed that Israel made no major move in their war strategy without the consent of American President Donald J. Trump. I could not understand why they needed his approval when the USA was not a player in this conflict.
But now that the peace deal has been signed by both sides, it appears that President Trump is the de facto leader of the state of Israel. Netanyahu defers much of his governing decisions to Trump and is indebted to him for standing up for Israel against the left-leaning UN and their biased positions against the Holyland.
The Speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana, gave the opening remarks at the Knesset meeting attended by many heads of states and the Israeli Parliament, minus two that walked out in protest. Trump had the longest standing ovation ever seen in the Knesset’s history.
“Mr. President, you stand before the people of Israel not as another American president, but as a giant of Jewish history – one for whom we must look back two and a half millennia into the midst of time to find a parallel, Cyrus the Great. You, President Donald J. Trump are a colossus who will be enshrined in the pantheon of history. Thousands of years from now, Mr. President, the Jewish people will remember you. We are a nation that remembers. Far from being a local struggle, what we are witnessing is a global struggle, a global battle between the forces of extremism, radicalism, and fundamentalism and those of freedom, liberty, and democracy.”
Popular Bible prophecy teachers totally overlook the prophetic significance of what just took place. Christendom cannot seem to think outside the box. This is not found in the popular Evangelical seminary text books or commentaries. Yet the facts are staring us in the face. Christian media voices do not see the fulfilment of Bible prophecy that just happened in the last few days in the State of Israel. But it all leaves them scratching their collective heads.
According to Trump’s peace plan, he will lead a coalition of Western countries in the reconstruction of Gaza and its security forces. The ‘Palestinians’ will be without their own government until the area is rebuilt and secure. This element gives the state of Israel a guarantee of sharing the border safely with Gaza without crossing the border themselves. So it appears that Trump is now the de facto head of Gaza as well.
After the Speaker’s opening remarks, Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke from the podium with glowing words for his senior benefactor Trump.
“President Trump, we welcome you and your distinguished delegation to Jerusalem, our eternal capital. This is now your first visit to Israel, since you recognized Jerusalem as our capital and moved the embassy here, thank you, President Trump, for that. There are many other reasons to thank since your last visit here. Thank you for recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Thank you for standing up to the lies against Israel by the United Nations… Donald Trump is the greatest friend that the state of Israel has ever had in the White House… Mr. President, you are committed to this peace. I am committed to this peace and together, Mr. President, we will achieve this peace… I believe that the close cooperation between the two of us, between our two nations, combining Israel’s military pressure and President Trump’s unmatched global leadership… I’ve never seen anyone move the world so quickly, so decisively, so resolutely as our friend, President Donald J. Trump. I look forward to continuing marching with you on the path we pave together with the Abraham Accords. Under your leadership, we can forge new peace treaties with Arab countries… May God bless America. May God bless Israel. And may God bless the covenant between our two promised lands.”
And that’s the answer to the ‘sixty-four thousand dollar’ question – America and Israel ARE God’s two promise lands. That is the theme of my book, The United States of Israel: America in End Times Prophecy.
Ezekiel’s vision of a future war in Israel against the invading nations surrounding her is detailed in the 38th chapter of the prophet’s book in the Bible. But the precursor to that horrific war is in the prior chapter – 37.
“Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am about to take the stick of Joseph (that is in the hand of Ephraim) and the tribes of Israel associated with him [Northern Kingdom]. And I will join with it the stick of Judah [Southern Kingdom] and make them one stick, that they may be one in my hand. . . And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms.” Ezekiel 37:19,22
Bible prophecy teachers acknowledge that the Ezekiel 38 war is imminent in Israel. Most of them see that as happening before the final seven-year time of Tribulation before the Second Coming of Christ to bring the ultimate peace on the planet for a thousand years. But none of them can tell you the identity of those two “nations” representing the descendants of the twelve tribes of Israel. The fulfillment of that prophecy cannot happen unless you recognize who these two sticks (nations) are in real time. And until they understand the fulfillment of the two sticks, they cannot accurately identify the other players in the end times events. My book linked below gives the biblical details.
They need to take Netanyahu’s words seriously: “God bless the covenant between our two promised lands.”
